My Actifit Report Card: July 25 2020

Dzisiejszy dzień można podsumować jednym słowem - gorąc. W sumie wstyd się przyznać, ale to mój pierwszy raz w Grecji, o ile Cypru nie liczyć jako Grecję. Sytuacja z Covid jest trochę śmieszna, bo już w domu wiedzieliśmy, że 2 osoby z naszej czwórki będą poddane testom i równie dobrze moglibyśmy oszukać system i się tym w ogóle nie przejmować. Ale badanie przeprowadzono i chyba już nie będą się po nas zgłaszać. Teoretycznie, osoby po takim badaniu mają obowiązek zastosowania samoizolacji w hotelu przez dobę po przyjeździe. Praktycznie, chyba nikt tu tego nie przestrzega. Myśmy zostali w hotelu, poza wyjściem na na 2 h, żadnych sklepów, żadnych kontaktów itd. Pod względem epidemii, życie na wyspie ma plusy.

One can sum up the present day with one word - heat. I'm shy to tell, that it's my first time in Greece, unless you count Cyprus as Greek. The situation with covid is quite funny, because while still at home we knew that 2 out of 4 of us are going to be tested for covid. We could crack the system with ease. Although, the tests were conducted and we think nobody won't be calling us. Theoretically, those selected for tests are to self-quarantine themselves for a day after arrival. In reality, nobody follows the rules. We've stayed at the hotel, with the exception of small walk to the beach, but without any shopping, restaurants or contacts whatsoever. Considering current pandemy, living on a island can be very advantageous.
