WiFi connectivity problems……………😳
Last Sunday Silvertop was running the Worship bands sound wirelessly………..we had a packed Church!😊
I was sitting in the back of the Church, and several times our wireless connection dropped out!😳
The more people in Church, the more WiFi signal interference………..
No one noticed, Silvertop was quick to reconnect and make the sound adjustments, but Liz and I needed to address this issue!
This morning before we hiked, we headed to Church…………
The Mrs ordered a “WiFi repeater”.
This device will boost your existing Wi-Fi signal to cover a greater distance!
Liz has set this same repeater up at home for our ASIC Crypto miners!
Our repeater at home works flawlessly, transmitting data from our three high speed Crypto miners!😇
At Church the router connected to our Mackie sound board would not connect to the repeater!🤔
Liz was on the phone with the sound engineers at Sweetwater, they are some of the best people for live sound tech.
“ @elizabethbit trying to boost this wireless soundboard’s WiFi with a repeater may not be possible!”🤔
“Have you thought about just moving the router out into the sanctuary maybe behind the worship team on stage?”
How do they say it…… “ there’s the rub!”
The Pastor wants all electronics “Out of sight”…….😮
Sweetwater is doing further research for us, but for this Sunday, we moved the existing router to a small plant table in the doorway leading into the sanctuary!
“Three full bars of signal strength at the back of the Church Silvertop!”🤗
Hmmm……. “this might work Liz!”
I’m ready for today’s hike honey, how about you!😅
Crossing our fingers for tomorrow morning……….😁
