Sometimes is seems like the work never slows down Lol!🤣
I hiked past Chris, he had his tractor out picking up firewood in his pasture.
He cut and split this wood last summer.😊
Every day Silvertop passes that stack of firewood………..
“Liz, you can put one piece of firewood in you backpack each day Lol, Chris won’t mind Lol!🤣😇
“I don’t think so Silvertop!”🤔
I think Silvertop’s Firewood stack can be seen from space…………..
Silvertop has years worth of firewood!☺️
Before we could enjoy “The Great Outdoors” …………….
The Mrs had a Coffee roasting order to fill!
The second photo is the finished product, the dark, oily, espresso, coffee, beans!😊
After that, you can see the green Coffee beans in the beginning of the roasting cycle.
The next photo is the byproduct of roasting, this is a tray full of the Coffee chaff.
The beans “crack” like popcorn, and this produces the “chaff”!😇
I have seen many products with Coffee chaff added, such as ice cream and soaps.
For the moment, we use this chaff outside in the garden….
It makes very good compost!😊
In between these chores Silvertop
discovered just this morning, that I need to make another trip to hardware sales, for more electrical parts!😳
The work never slows down Lol!🤣
It was after 4 PM before we met up with our friend Jan for today’s hike…..
We climbed to the ridge top with about 30 minutes left before sunset………
“Liz do you have your flashlight?”😲
Hmmm………………🤔
“Well we are on our hike back downhill, check out that beautiful sunset Silvertop!”😎
