Una rica y caliente mazamorra es todo lo que necesitas en esas noches frías pero por otro lado también lo puedes probar en forma de flan bien frio en las tardes calurosas. No deja de ser un postre muy versátil y delicioso con el gusto del maíz tierno y un toque de canela si es de tu agrado. Hoy comparto contigo de la manera más sencilla que se puede preparar sin tantos ritos místicos con los que la abuela y mamá suelen prepararlos. Esta receta puede variar al gusto de cada persona y no perder nunca su encanto, porque es una receta sencilla para gustos sencillos. Es simplemente uno de los postres que forman parte de la cultura aunque no el más extendido porque no es costumbre en todas las familias pero al menos en la mía es una receta que no puede faltar cuando vemos llegar la temporada de maíz tierno. Mi receta: 1 taza de maíz tierno molido. ½ taza de agua. ¼ de taza de leche en polvo Azúcar, al gusto. Guayabilla, canela o nuez moscada al gusto.

Preparación La preparación es muy sencilla y podemos iniciar con la guayabilla que se usó en este caso, poniéndola dentro del agua y llevándola a hervir al menos un minuto. La masa de maíz la ponemos dentro de una olla con el agua y la guayabilla y la ponemos a fuego medio y revolvemos con frecuencia para que no se pegue.

Cuando haya adquirido viscosidad se debe colar para quitar la cascarilla de maíz y lo devolvemos a la olla para dejarlo coser bien.

En este punto podemos agregar la leche en polvo o por otro lado podemos prepararla con el agua de la guayabilla.

Y así, disolviendo bien la leche vemos si está demasiado espeso y agregamos un poco más de agua. Por otro lado si queremos hacerlo como un flan frío podemos dejarlo espero y ponerlo en un molde mientras aun esté caliente y luego lo llevamos a la nevera.

Es un postre que recomiendo para esos niños que ya no quieren tomar su leche sola o se aburrieron de la avena o que por otro lado no deban tomar leche achocolatada o este tipo de bebidas instantáneas. Este fue uno de mis postres favoritos durante mi embarazo y sigo apreciándolo como uno de los postres tradicionales de mi región.

It is a dessert that I recommend for those children who no longer want to drink their milk alone or are bored with oatmeal or who on the other hand should not drink chocolate milk or this type of instant drink. This was one of my favorite desserts during my pregnancy and I still appreciate it as one of the traditional desserts from my region.
