Visiting in Bali
Dear friends,
Today we visited a typical Bali plantation, where they grow coffee, Coco, Mangosteen, lemon grass, and banana. They show case how coffee were roasted and made in the traditional way. They also showed how the cat coffee is being made. The civet ate the coffee beans in the forest and they collected their poo , that includes coffee beans. Those coffee are more expensive than the normal one. They showed that those coffee beans are peeled off before being processed. That means that those coffee doesn't contain the civet poo. There, they let us taste variety of coffee and tea and we could choose what we want to buy.
Another place we visited was the lake near the Batur Volcano. The last eruption of the volcano was in 1970. The volcano is still alive. I could still see the black lava rocks on the volcano. Below is my photo with the volcano behind.
Then, we went to the hot spring near the lake. There were many pools with hot spring water and the scenery from there was also beautiful with the volcano behind.
Those are some of the activities for today.
