Drying Birds - My Actifit Report Card: February 22nd, 2024

Welcome to

Thursday ☀️ 7957

An old abandoned train bridge used as a meeting spot by several birds. Today there‘s a heron sitting on the corner overlooking a flock of cormorans while doing their drying ritual. For some reason those cormorans are missing a certain substance that repells water from their feathers so unlike other birds that dry in an instant after diving or general contact with water the cormorans have to find a safe place to open their wings widely and expose them to wind an sun to dry. 🖖🏼☀️🤙🏼
