Yesterday we burned the calories exploring Wokingham which hosted a huge Spring Fair to celebrate May Day here in the U.K.
There were street entertainers galore.
Morris dancing is an age old tradition of ours. It’s quite a bizarre one at that but always draws the crowd. I’m rather fond of the bizarre! Just don’t ask me to sign up and dance!
Not long to go now until the next big national event. Queen Lizzie or “Lizzabet” I think her nickname might be? I’ve probably spelt that wrong celebrates 70 years as our monarch.
There is going to be a big event here in the village and I’ll photograph it as it’s very significant indeed.
