Cuba Street walking, Wellington, New Zealand: November 29 2022

Today was a good day. Only 16k on the activity count but I had a 12 kilometre easy run on top of that.

Lunch was with a Hive Witness whom very kindly made space in his busy schedule, which was very educational and enjoyable.

The afternoon was a stroll exploring Cuba St in New Zealand's Capital City. Wellington.

Another one of those hippy trendy area's which are alway a worth while places to visit as you will be sure to see people and things that are not so main stream.

I have never seen this sort of weird Christmas tree plant.

I wasn't that impressed with the water fountain but it did add a lot of colour to the pedestrian mall.

Cuba Street was named after a New Zealand Company European settler ship. Lots of the shops and cafe's have taken on theme's from the Country of Cuba in the America's. This might be as close as I every get to seeing the real Cuba, but you never know!

There is nothing like visiting a new place to make me feel AliveAndThriving!
