ARW challange & Actifit Report Card: November 2 2022

My entry into bucipuci's around the world challenge #25/3 is another photo I took on our long weekend trip away. It is of Nobbys Beach in Newcastle, New South Wales. Australia.

I like this photo because you can see some young people training on there surf rescue paddle boards. The boards are long and narrow so you can get out through the waves. Long so they can pick up someone that might need help and then paddle back to shore.
In clean surf they quite often paddle wth there hands while sitting there knees. When it's rough water it's best to lie down.

Nowadays they also use rubber duckies inflatable boats but I still like seeing the the old ways.

Nobbys Beach is also at the mouth of the Hunter River and you can see a massive cargo ship heading out behind the sand dunes.

I made a decent activity count 40k worth of work walking, a morning run and an afternoon bike ride.
