**REVIEW OF 3 WORKS OF CHILDREN'S LITERATURE** --- # For as long as I can remember, children's literature has been present in my life.

When I still did not know how to read, my aunt would sit down in the afternoons to tell us the most famous children's stories that existed; Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and Pinocchio, were just some of the stories she would tell us, sometimes she would do it in parts if it was a very long story, and other times, she would read us the whole story. He would even sing us some melodies related to those stories, such as the Pinocchio's one that goes: # Up to the old dolls' hospital came poor Pinocchio, badly wounded because a bandit scarecrow caught him sleeping and attacked him... # ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmdbWwbxJ2Sr6QHU2HFmwHdqbyZKpGCcARhBZWieV1rUkh/367856996_136427966148742_6540887017238844984_n.jpg) # ... whose creator was the Argentine singer Luis Aguilé, and this melody was part of many that were sung to us as children. # While he was reading to us, he would pause to explain a little of the context, or because one of us asked questions. And so I grew up in the midst of all the fantasy that those stories that I loved so much offered us, to the point of composing them today and having a vast collection of children's stories of my authorship. # But I keep many books of those works that are already world icons of Children's Literature, and they are not only told in the family, but also in schools. **1.- The Fairies, by Charles Perrault:** --- A woman had two daughters with totally opposite characteristics; one good, beautiful, and noble, and the other bad, ugly, and selfish. # The good daughter was kept as a servant, and was made to carry water from a fountain to the house daily. # One of those times, she met an old woman who asked her for some water and the girl kindly gave her some. The old woman was a fairy in disguise who, upon seeing her nobility, gave her the gift that every time she spoke, flowers and precious stones would come out of her mouth. # ![367926628_1242687183034216_1135404056354768622_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23xp6cAvUy9mdUeY5e27dYK2amh2eqtiAkSniEQSLe3ra4TjyJnZdADNruQBMwRE5NwqK.jpg) # The mother, seeing this situation, made the most of it, and sent her other daughter to do the same if she saw the old woman. # But this time the fairy disguised herself as an elegant woman and the bad girl denied her the water hoping to see the old woman. The fairy seeing her wickedness, put a spell on her where every time she spoke, toads and snakes would come out of her mouth. # So the girl had to live hidden forever, and her sister, noble and beautiful, met a handsome prince and they were married.
**2.- The Tale of the Milkmaid, by Jean de la Fontaine:** --- # Rosaura, was a very dreamy girl who lived with her mother in a small cabin in the countryside. They had a little hen and a milk cow, that her mother always ordered her to milk to go to sell the milk to the town market. # Once, after milking the cow, she went to the market, but on the way she dreamed of everything she could get if she sold the milk, she could buy piglets, chicks, a farm, and have a lot of money and marry a handsome boy. # ![367875339_297309252884030_5036168063625138527_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23vi4KSuBQUbavrowNTyntJE3zFFdCtecZgDXHC2yi9u5UnhptPFCk5NU8euhit23ZsAa.jpg) # But in the middle of her dreams, she stumbled and the milk jug broke, spilling all the milk on the ground. # Her mother told her about the dangers of daydreaming, and so that she would no longer feel sad, she fixed her dress for her to go to the town ball. She never imagined that the man of her dreams would be there, and that after meeting him, they would be married some time later, fulfilling all her desires.
**3.- The Treasure of the Three Brothers, by Ludwing Bechtein:** --- # This is a play that tells the story of parents with three sons, whom no one called by their names but by their nicknames; Largo, Gordo and Tonto. # The truth is that the three brothers decided to leave home one by one, to try their luck in other worlds and gain fortune. The first to leave was Largo, and on the way he met an old man who offered him a job, and after a while, he could no longer employ him, so he gave him a magic table that when he said a few words, delicacies appeared on it. The boy left happy but at the inn where he arrived, the owner stole the table and exchanged it for another without magical powers, and the boy did not even notice. # ![367863230_241439598326609_413854834898510936_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23xedu7W2mXi2wdzpWQCDDn6dW4r9VZdKS9WKEU85hNZAvJWmxyB4LEV6KQbmmo1kcbNp.jpg) # He returned home without understanding what had happened. After a while, Gordo left, and went through the same situation, but this time he was given a donkey that sneezed gold coins. In the same way, he arrived at the inn and the innkeeper changed the donkey without him noticing, and when he got home he did not understand what was happening. # When it was time for Tonto, who was not a fool, he received as a gift from the old man, a cane that beat the crooks, and when he arrived at the inn, the boy said the magic words and the cane began to beat the innkeeper until he confessed his misdeeds and had to return to Tonto, all that he had stolen from his brothers. # In that way, Tonto arrived home happy with the three gifts, and they were able to solve all the economic problems of their home.

**RESEÑA DE 3 OBRAS DE LITERATURA INFANTIL** --- # Desde que tengo uso de razón, la literatura infantil ha estado presente en mi vida.

Cuando aún no sabía leer, mi tía se encargaba de sentarse durante las tardes a relatarnos los cuentos infantiles más famosos que existían; La bella durmiente, Cenicienta, Caperucita Roja, Blancanieves y Pinocho, eran sólo algunas de las historias que nos relataba, ciertas veces lo hacía por partes si se trataba de una narración muy larga, y otras, lograba leernos el relato completo. Incluso, nos cantaba algunas melodías relacionadas con esos cuentos, como la de Pinocho que dice: # Hasta el viejo hospital de los muñecos llegó el pobre Pinocho malherido porque un espantapájaros bandido lo sorprendió dormido y lo atacó…

… cuyo creador fue el cantante argentino Luis Aguilé, y esta melodía formó parte de muchas que nos cantaban cuando niños. # Mientras nos iba leyendo, hacía pausas para explicarnos un poco el contexto, o porque alguno de nosotros hacía preguntas. Y así fui creciendo en medio de toda la fantasía que nos brindaban aquellas historias que amé tanto, hasta el punto de componerlas hoy en día y tener una vasta colección de cuentos infantiles de mi autoría. # Pero conservo muchos libros de esas obras que ya son íconos mundiales de la Literatura Infantil, y no sólo se relatan en el seno familiar, sino en las escuelas. Ya muchos de ellos, en versiones más breves, y con una gran cantidad de ilustraciones que motivan mucho más a los niños a sumergirse en el interesante mundo de la lectura.

**1.- Las hadas, de Charles Perrault:** --- # Una mujer tenía dos hijas con características totalmente opuestas; una buena, hermosa, y noble, y la otra mala, fea y egoísta. # A la hija buena, la tenían como una sirvienta, y la hacían cargar agua desde una fuente hasta la casa diariamente. # Una de esas veces, se encontró con una anciana que le pidió un poco de agua y la chica amablemente le cedió un poco. La anciana era un hada disfrazada que al ver su nobleza le brindó el don de que cada vez que hablara, de su boca saldrían flores y piedras preciosas. # ![367926628_1242687183034216_1135404056354768622_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23xp6cAvUy9mdUeY5e27dYK2amh2eqtiAkSniEQSLe3ra4TjyJnZdADNruQBMwRE5NwqK.jpg) # La madre al ver esta situación, sacó todo el provecho posible, y mandó a la otra hija para que hiciera lo mismo si veía la anciana. # Pero esta vez el hada se disfrazó de una mujer elegante y la mala chica le negó el agua esperando ver a la anciana. El hada al ver su maldad, le puso un hechizo donde cada vez que hablara, saldrían sapos y culebras de su boca. # De esa manera la chica tuvo que vivir escondida para siempre, y su hermana, noble y hermosa, conoció un hermoso príncipe y se casaron.
**2.- El cuento de la lechera, de Jean de la Fontaine:** --- # Rosaura, era una niña muy soñadora que vivía con su madre en una pequeña cabaña en el campo. Tenían una gallinita y una vaca lechera, que su madre siempre le ordenaba que ordeñara para ir a vender la leche al mercado del pueblo. # Una vez, después de ordeñar a la vaquita, se fue hacia el mercado pero en el camino iba soñando en todo lo que podía obtener si vendía la leche, podía comprar unos cochinitos, pollitos, una granja, y tener mucho dinero y casarse con un apuesto chico. # ![367875339_297309252884030_5036168063625138527_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23vi4KSuBQUbavrowNTyntJE3zFFdCtecZgDXHC2yi9u5UnhptPFCk5NU8euhit23ZsAa.jpg) # Pero en medio de sus sueños, tropezó y el cántaro de leche se quebró derramando toda la leche por el suelo. # Su madre le habló de los peligros de soñar despierta, y para que ya no se sintiera triste, le arregló su vestido para que fuera al baile del pueblo. Nunca imaginó, que el hombre de sus sueños iba a estar allí, y que luego de conocerlo, se casarían tiempo después, cumpliendo todos sus anhelos.
**3.- El tesoro de los tres hermanos, de Ludwing Bechtein:** --- # Ésta es una obra que relata la historia de unos padres con tres hijos, a los que nadie llamaba por sus nombres sino por los apodos; Largo, Gordo y Tonto. # Lo cierto es que los tres hermanos decidieron irse del hogar uno por uno, para probar suerte en otros mundos y ganar fortuna. El primero en irse fue Largo, y en el camino se encontró con un anciano que le ofreció trabajo, y al tiempo, no pudo emplearlo más por lo que le regaló una mesa mágica que al decir unas palabras, aparecían manjares sobre ella. El muchacho se fue contento pero en la posada donde llegó, el dueño le robó la mesa y se la cambió por otra sin poderes mágicos, y el chico ni cuenta se dio. # ![367863230_241439598326609_413854834898510936_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/annafenix/23xedu7W2mXi2wdzpWQCDDn6dW4r9VZdKS9WKEU85hNZAvJWmxyB4LEV6KQbmmo1kcbNp.jpg) # Regresó a su hogar sin entender lo que había sucedido. Al tiempo, se fue Gordo, y pasó por la misma situación, pero esta vez le regalaron un burro que estornudaba monedas de oro. De igual forma, llegó a la posada y el posadero le cambió el burro sin que se diera cuenta, y al llegar a su casa no comprendía lo que pasaba. # Cuando fue la oportunidad de Tonto, que de tonto no tenía ni un pelo, recibió como regalo del anciano, un bastón que golpeaba a los maleantes, y al llegar a la posada, el chico dijo las palabras mágicas y el bastón comenzó a golpear al posadero hasta que confesó sus fechorías y tuvo que devolverle a Tonto, todo lo que le había robado a sus hermanos. # De esa manera, Tonto llegó a su casa contento con los tres regalos, y pudieron resolver todos los problemas económicos de su hogar.
