Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was all about yard work, well the afternoon anyways, because of course, just like Saturdays, Sundays don't have mornings. It was the first time mowing the lawn this season, and it was super tall! Earlier in the week, I'm pretty sure I saw a van from the City checking out the front yard, and I will get a letter saying grass and weeds are too tall (yeah, their system is terrible, the letter always arrives after the deadline to fix whatever needs to be fixed). It really needed to be done. Le Chat followed the work very closely and verified all the details.
All included, it took pretty much the entire afternoon. And after a short break, we quickly went for a walk with Kaia, it was already after sundown.
And by the time we made it to the forest, it was fully dark.
Kaia and her giant shadow went on the hunt as usual.
But in spite of all her efforts catching new scents in the air, she couldn't find any critters to chase.
Just like the past couple of nights, once it was really dark, we tried looking for the Northern Lights, but unfortunately we couldn't see anything. Probably too many trees and obstacles all around us. At least, the Moon was there!
And that was it. Not the most exciting Sunday, but for once, what needed to be done got done! Onto the new week now!
