Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a pretty busy day, with plenty of things to do on top of a regular work day. But for once, the weather was sunny, it had been a while, so of course, we couldn't skip our daily walk with Kaia. We didn't have as much time as usual, so we just went to the small forest behind the front yard.
I really missed these sunny forestry backgrounds.
Kaia went on the hunt right away of course. We don't go there every day, so lots of new scents every time.
Even added an obstacles course.
We walked further inside the forest. It's a mess there, without any trail at all, you just go wherever you choose, or can.
Kaia suddenly stopped, standing completely still. Squirrels!!
The standing still didn't last of course, she chased them like a maniac! But they all climb in trees, and all she got was very muddy paws.
One more obstacle to jump.
And one final sunny view, and we were on our way back home.
The reason we couldn't walk longer is we were going to a musical in Detroit in the evening. But before that, we stopped in town to buy concert tickets. The sunset was quite impressive from Comerica Park.
The Detroit Opera House, where the musical was playing, is one of my favorite venue in Detroit.
The musical itself, Wicked, wasn't bad. Maybe if I had a better knowledge of The Wizard of Oz, it would have been easier to understand some details, but it was pretty good anyways.
Well, it was a great day with several very different activities. Variety is always good! As expected, it wasn't possible to reach the bar, but hopefully I can get back in #poprzeczka competition this week end.
