Hey Actifitters,
Just like the day before, yesterday I had planned lots of things to do/fix/clean in the house. But it seems the weather didn't want me to do any of that, it was just too sunny! So early afternoon, we started a walk to the forest with Kaia.
Good opportunity to visit areas we don't always have time to go to, like the teepees.
Kaia was leading the way with an expression that looked like: "come on, you're too slow..."
But she also took a few breathers, just to be ready in case she needed to chase more deer or squirrels.
We headed back home, but barely had time for a few espressos before it was already time to go again, if we wanted to catch the sunset. So out we went again!
And here it was, that great big ball of fire!
Of course, we kept looking for different viewpoints until the sun was pretty much all hidden behind the trees. That's when we met this family of deer. Can you see them? Kaia clearly could!
We kept walking to arrive at that new place I discovered a few days ago. It was perfect for the final color show.
Still spectacular when we started on our way back.
And as often, we finished our walk in the quiet darkness of the night.
Quite an active day (well afternoon really, considering when I got up) in the end, with well over 10 miles walked with Kaia. Zero chores done in the house, but it's okay, there's always tomorrow, or next year...
