We played a couple of rounds of disc golf today. One in the morning and one in the evening. There were four of us in the morning and three in evening on the eighteen hole course.
In the morning round I was not doing all that well and scored a +3 but in the evening I scored a -1. I had a couple of new discs that I was trying out in the evening. I got a new Plasma Crave disc mostly as a spare. It is 172 grams and flys very nicely with a bit more stability than either of my other Crave discs. I like to have a few different weights and stablilities for discs I throw a lot. (Sometimes they do get lost unfortunatly.)
I'm really enjoying my new Reactor midrange disc. It is one of the few midrange discs that I've been able to throw halfway well. I'm going to have to throw it a lot more to really see how it is going to work out but so far it has been great. It is in Eclipse Glow Plastic. These are fun to see out in the field at the end of an evening round.
This was taken out on the disc golf course while we were warming up:
It takes special skilz to "taco" a disc into the bottom of the basket, lol. It seems like it should count for getting into the basket but officially, I don't think so.
It made for a fun photo in any case.
