It was cold this morning and we were almost tempted to run the heater for the first time this season but the batteries were dead. I replaced them this afternoon and it was warm enough by then that the heater was no longer enticing.
I went out for a disc golf round with my son. He was playing rather well. I was not. It was still fun to be out on the course though. Sometimes you need to have a few bad rounds, it kind of makes it more fun when you throw well.
At least I did not make any really awful throws.
I'm still not used to my VIP Harp and are not pulling it out as much as I did with my BT medium Harp. I sure I will get more used to it as I play with it more. I still don't know why my BT medium Harp warped so badly.
My son keeps wanting me to keep playing with the warped Harp but it really does not work well for my slower low spin putts. I just don't have any confidence in using it now that I know it is warped. I'm actually happy that I figured out what the problem was, it seemed like I was missing a lot more of my windy day putts.
Most of the rest of my steps were from the usual dog walking and activities around the house.
I also did some shopping on my e-bike. They have some self checkout areas now so that if you don't want to wait you can checkout yourself. It worked pretty well but I had a hard time figuring out how to correct for errors and had to start things over a lot on missed keypresses. Now that I know how it works I think I will be using it a lot more.
One of these days I bet we will have the kind of self checkout where you just take things off the shelves and the computer vision will figure out how much you owe and charge you appropriatly. That will be nice.
