Although my day started quietly and slowly, it picked up momentum to the point that I'm too tired to sit here and type. The action started when I began washing dishes. That might not sound so bad except I'm absolutely the worst about washing dishes. No automatic dishwasher. No running water. So I have to pump water, heat water, wash, rinse, repeat over and over. That was enough to wear me out. I really shouldn't put that chore off for so long, I know.
After 4 failures to upload I'm just posting without the photo that goes here.
Then things really picked up with multiple loads of laundry (taking advantage of the sunny day), feeding chickens, tending to greenhouse, and a call for a 2nd brooder. My family, up at front of property, decided to buy a bunch of baby ducks and turkeys. I rushed around gathering supplies to put together a second brooder (I'd built the first a few weeks back for hatching chicks) plus sent them home with materials they need for a third.
I made multiple trips up front, including a trip to take my son-in-law a 1960s era GI Joe that had belonged to my little brother. He got super excited when he saw it was a blonde GI Joe. I was just impressed that I'd been able to find both his boots and that the uniform seemed to have all its snaps.
There's more but I think you get the idea. It was a busy, busy day. And there were even many micro-workouts throughout as well.
