60min Strength with a 5x5 Template
A great template to test heavy dumbbells and in Tiffany my case to work on our stamina at the treadmill work for Saturday’s Half Marathon.
I’m getting my strength back little by little as I keep pushing through the various recoveries from COVID to hamstring pulls.
It’s all great to do a strength template the day before rest day from working out 💪🏽
This how we burned splats today:
Floor block 1
• 5 deadlift
• 10 plank Spiderman
• 5 rounds of above 2 exercises
then 300m row
• 5 incline chest press
• 10 bench tap squats
• 5 rounds of above 2 exercises
then 300m row
• 5 seated low row
• 10 plank shoulder taps
• 5 rounds of above 2 exercises
then 300m row
If done just complete exercises until time
% is incline
Tread block 1,
• 90s push
• 1 min base
• 30s push @5%
• 30s all out
Tread block 2,
• 75s push @2%
• 1 min base
• 45s push @4%
• 30s all out
Tread block 3
• 1 min push @3%
• 1 min base
• 1 min push @3%
• 30s all out
Tread block 4
• 45s push @4%
• 1 min base
• 75s push @2%
• 30s all out
Tread block 5
• 30s push @5%
• 1 min base
• 90s push
• 30s all out

After rest day tomorrow 2 more OTF workouts then the half marathon on Saturday and then rest on Sunday with a possible extra day off Monday to recover from the run.
Monday happens to be a 1 Mile Benchmark Challenge, so would hate miss that 🤪
