Hello, again! Assalamu Alaikum. How are you? Hopefully, you are having a fantastic day. I am also having the same, Alhamdulillah. Here is the Alive and Thriving post on the 21st of February 2023, International Mother language day. It is also the actifit report on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, I attended a kind of free medical camp, arranged by one of my relatives, at his home, not so far from my place of living. As it was International Mother Language day, his office was off. I reached his residence at around 10:30 am. I gave free advice to around 30 patients. After having lunch together, I returned home.
In the afternoon, my son and I went out for a short walk. We walked up to a nearby pharmacy and bought one piece of medicine for my mother-in-law. On our way back, I bought chocolates for my kid. For the rest of the time, I was at home spending time partly studying and partly playing with my kid.

Even though International Mother Language day is celebrated based upon the incident of 1952 in Bangladesh, I didn’t participate in any other program other than giving some free advice to some patients. It is a nice thing that the struggles of our ancestors for establishing the Bangla language as one of the national languages (besides Urdu) of Pakistan got world recognition. In 1999 UNESCO declared the 21st of February as International Mother Language day. From the next year onwards, it is being observed all over the world.
