1 x day shift : Water Treatment Plant.
Today was a bit unusual as the company held it's annual Safety Day.

Management got to say a few words about safety, frontline staff got to spend half the day cleaning up the site grounds and we all got together for a BBQ lunch at midday, before getting back to work.

One good thing about all the cleaning was that it required a lot of walking around the site. Lots of steps!

Here's a couple of pictures of one of the areas I was tasked with cleaning: the PAC dosing system.

'PAC' stands for Powdered Activated Carbon.

In other news, I have finally got my MTB back together. I'm planning on riding to work tomorrow. This will be the first time I've ridden to work with the actifit app running, so I'm interested to see how that effects my activity total. Hopefully the weather is kind to me.

I'm so stoked to get back on the treadly...
Feels like months since I've been able to ride!

See you tomorrow 👍
