It is a commitment that demands that you deal with your lust, your greed, your pride, your power, your desire to control, your temper, your patience, and every area of temptation that the Bible clearly talks about. It demands the quality of commitment that Jesus demonstrates in His relationship with us.
It is a pity that in today's world, many have said the word love to each other but never meant it, many all in the name of love has hurt those people who they claimed to love or told they love them.
Love is the greatest commitment, when you know this, you would do unto others what you want them to do unto you.
