Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by today!
We headed to church in the early afternoon for today was our pastor Carl’s retirement party.
There were lots of goodies and way too many people for the room in the end. The event was from 2-4, but we headed out to go home by 2:30. The room was really to crowded to be safe and we needed to hike anyway.

Jan was at the party as well and we decided on a mid afternoon hike.
It was a strange weather day. We woke up to complete cloud cover and rain looked imminent. We got a couple of sprinkles but no real rain.
@actifit-lamb went with us. She was so happy to get out! Jan brought her a picnic basket as a gift, so the lamb gang will definitely have a picnic soon!
There seems to smoke blowing in from some of the wildfires around. It’s stinky and is terrible for the lungs. 😖
I went back to Keith and Lynne’s garden to visit the sunflower that was barely blooming a few days ago. Here it is today in all of its glory!
Along Buckhorn Loop, I ran into this very colorful fungi. Actually there were two of them. I’ll show more pics of it tomorrow.
