Greetings everybody! I hope your day was awesome and thanks for stopping by today!
Our summer this year has been warmer than normal and the humidity has been higher as well. Neither myself nor @silvertop has liked this change! They were calling for a high in the mid 80’s today, so I suggested we head to Bellingham Bay, where it’s about 10 degrees cooler on average than where we live. We needed to go get household supplies, so I suggested a bit of a shorter hike there with a stop for a mocha frappe at the local coffee shop that’s there. @silvertop tweaked something in his lower rib area that made sleeping for him last night, almost impossible. We thought this would be a good hike without being too strenuous.

After enjoying our frappes, we headed off to a local non membership store that offers warehouse pricing for food service that is open to the general public. Then it was off to Walmart and Dollar Tree. Costco will be next month’s trip.
We headed home after that. True to it’s word, it was in the mid 80’s with lots of humidity 🙄
Here’s a pic of a seagull just out from under the elevated boardwalk we were on. It was a very low tide; the lowest we’ve seen in a while.
