Hey guys and thanks for stopping by today!
Today was the day! Google Street View was coming! Instead of sleeping in as I usually do on Saturdays, I was up and out the door by 9 AM. There were quite a number of things that needed doing before they arrived. @silvertop was coming to help, so off we went. In the end, I did all the prep work, lol as he’d gotten up at 4:30 to do his morning crypto chores because we would be gone during his usual time to do them.
He decided to go get some steps around Everson, so since I was done, sat down to finish yesterday’s work. A little bit later, I heard a knocking on the door. Google had arrived !
Meet Josh and David-our photographers for today. David headed outside with his trusty camera and Josh began in the doc’s exam room. He would place the camera and click the button; once it snapped the picture, he’d rotate taking a pic each time and rotating to 4 points total, before relocating it and doing the same. He took a ton of pics like that. Meanwhile, David was outside doing his thing with a similar camera, and when he came inside, began taking additional photos. It was a pretty cool process.

I’m looking forward to the finished video and still shots that will be sent to us in about 10 days. It was a pretty cool experience.
Then, it was off to church to practice for tomorrow’s service.
After that, it was home and after resting for about 30 min, headed out with Jan for a mini hike. It looks like the yurt it going to be raised tomorrow. We are on call to help if they get in a pickle after church. We will definitely be seeing them to inquire how things are going and to help if they need it.
Today was such a eventful and busy day! I’m looking forward to a little relaxation and then bed.
If all goes according to plan and we get a longer hike tomorrow, I’ve got a new apparatus to help with lifting the backpack off of my back and making it more comfortable to hike in hot weather. I know @actifit-lamb is looking forward to coming along again for hikes!🐑
