Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
As you can see from the picture behind the Fitbit stats, today was not sunny. It did not however rain!
The morning was spent at ‘online church’ and then we just did a couple of things around the house until hiking time.
Jan met us of and off we set. The temps were close to 50 degrees-warmer than I prefer. You never know if taking a layer off because you’re too warm will end up cold in the end. The temperatures can change in the blink of an eye.
A few feet into the trail and Jan pointed this out to me from her side.
I really wanted to get closer, but the terrain there did not lend itself to the idea.
A little further up, I found this. Usually they are much smaller than these three were.
The biggest one was about an inch in diameter. Usually, they are maybe an 1/8th of an inch. They were so vibrant in color compared to the surroundings.
@actifit-lamb, Winchester and Wilbur the moose were the hiking companions for the day. It was hard to tell if it was going to rain, so all the others opted out to laze around on the waterbed.
We came home and after a coffee, I set out to make French onion soup for myself and Polish sausages and French fries for @silvertop. Then for dessert, I made mini cheesecakes without crust. Yummy!
Soon, it’ll be time for bed. Tomorrow comes with another appointment at the dentist. Yippee 🙄
