Saludos apreciados amigos de @EmpowerTalent y lectores en general.

Hoy escribimos un nuevo capítulo de nuestras vidas y la finalidad de este es continuar haciendo esa búsqueda para redescubrirnos desde el interior de nuestro ser, hacer ese encuentro íntimo con tu ser y determinar ¿cuáles son los talentos que te caracterizan? Sobre esto trata la iniciativa que nos propone el equipo de Encuentro de Talentos, junto a nuestra amiga @angelica7.

Hace un tiempo llenaba una encuesta personal donde me planearon justamente está interrogante ¿Conoces tus habilidades y destrezas? Les diré que mi mente se nublo por completo y por más que le di vuelta a la pregunta no encontraba determinar ¿cuáles eran mis talentos? Me encanta la cocina, pero no soy muy destacada en ella, no se hacer ningún tipo de postre, hasta hace poco hice mis primeras galletas, no soy buena bailando, pues tengo 2 pies izquierdo, justo en este punto recordé que soy muy buena comunicadora, tengo habilidades para hablar con alguien sin ninguno tipo de interrupciones.

Desde ese entonces, me determine descubrir mis talentos, les confieso que esto me creo un conflicto cognitivo al no saber para qué era buena, sin embargo, el participar continuamente en las actividades de Encuentro de Talentos me ha permitido redescubrirme, al igual que ser líder de un grupo de jóvenes donde debo ser quién las oriente y comparta con ellos una serie de tópicos que les impulse al crecimiento, con el tiempo he obtenido fantásticos resultados y he podido evidenciar parte de mis otros talentos.

Cada cierto tiempo hacemos un espacio de retroalimentación, dónde compartimos los aspectos más relevantes sobre los temas que hemos intervenido, además tomamos un tiempo para evidenciar nuestro crecimiento y en qué podemos seguir mejorando y uno de los aspectos que más se han resaltado allí es que para ellos he pasado a ser mamá gallina, me han agradecido por ser más que una amiga, por tener una gran empatía a la hora de escucharla y por darles muy buenos consejos cuando los han necesitado.

Me resulta impresionante como cada una de ellas puede tener una vida tan diferente y compleja a la vez, como podemos visualizar una circunstancia adversa desde diferentes perspectivas y como todas puedan dar una opinión y ayudar a sus semejantes, entre nosotras se ha creado una hermandad y nos preocupamos unas por otras, hemos reído como muy buenas amigas, pero también hemos llorado y secado las lágrimas en conjunto cuando algo nos afecta.

He recibido mensajes que me hacen sentir satisfecha con el tiempo que comparto con las niñas, muchos me han agradecido por el avance que han visto en sus hijas, como han mejorado en el camino, han dejado de ser muy tímidas y solitarias y muestran siempre muy buena actitud a la hora de nuestros encuentros.

Siento que soy parte de los agentes de cambios para la juventud, que desde los diversos espacios donde me movilice siempre tengo algo bueno que dar y enseñar, por algo estudie educación, porque la enseñanza corre por mis venas, desde lo más profundo de mi ser, no solo puedo impartir desde mi perspectiva como docente en el área de ciencias, también puedo ser orientadora, motivadora, amiga, confidente o simplemente ser un buen hombro para llorar y quedarme callada y escuchar con mucha atención, porque aunque ustedes no lo crean el saber escuchar y mostrar interés por los problemas de otros es importante, de lo contrario la persona se va a sentir ignorada.

Si eres de las personas que aún no conoces, sus virtudes y talento, te invito a que te animes a descubrirlo, nunca es tarde para encender esa pequeña llama que está en tu interior, recuerda que lo mínimo que haces forman parte de tus habilidades, hasta caminar con estilo puede ser considerado un gran talento, porque lo haces de manera especial, único y se convertiría en parte de tu esencia y es lo que te define.

RECOGNIZING MY BEST VIRTUES [ESP-ENG]

Greetings dear friends of @EmpowerTalent and readers in general.

Today we write a new chapter of our lives and the purpose of this one is to continue doing that search to rediscover ourselves from the inside of our being, to make that intimate encounter with your being and determine what are the talents that characterize you? This is the initiative proposed by the Talent Encounter team, together with our friend @angelica7.

Some time ago I filled out a personal survey where I was asked this question: Do you know your skills and abilities? I will tell you that my mind was completely clouded and no matter how many times I turned the question over, I couldn't determine what my talents were? I love cooking, but I am not very good at it, I do not know how to make any kind of dessert, until recently I made my first cookies, I am not good at dancing, because I have 2 left feet, just at this point I remembered that I am a very good communicator, I have skills to talk to someone without any kind of interruptions.

Since then, I have been determined to discover my talents, I confess that this created a cognitive conflict in me because I did not know what I was good at, however, participating continuously in the activities of Encuentro de Talentos has allowed me to rediscover myself, as well as being a leader of a group of young people where I have to be the one who guides them and share with them a series of topics that encourage them to grow, over time I have obtained fantastic results and I have been able to show part of my other talents.

Every so often we have a feedback session, where we share the most relevant aspects on the topics we have intervened, we also take time to show our growth and where we can continue to improve and one of the aspects that have been highlighted there is that for them I have become a mother hen, they have thanked me for being more than a friend, for having a great empathy when it comes to listening and for giving them very good advice when they have needed it.

It is impressive to me how each one of them can have such a different and complex life at the same time, how we can visualize an adverse circumstance from different perspectives and how all of them can give an opinion and help their fellow men, among us a sisterhood has been created and we care about each other, we have laughed as very good friends, but we have also cried and dried our tears together when something affects us.

I have received messages that make me feel satisfied with the time I share with the girls, many have thanked me for the progress they have seen in their daughters, how they have improved along the way, they have stopped being very shy and lonely and always show a very good attitude at the time of our meetings.

I feel that I am part of the agents of change for the youth, that from the different spaces where I mobilize I always have something good to give and teach, that is why I studied education, because teaching runs through my veins, from the deepest part of my being, I can not only teach from my perspective as a teacher in the area of science, I can also be a counselor, motivator, friend, confidant or simply be a good shoulder to cry on and stay quiet and listen very carefully, because although you may not believe it, knowing how to listen and show interest in the problems of others is important, otherwise the person will feel ignored.

If you are one of those people who still do not know their virtues and talents, I invite you to be encouraged to discover it, it is never too late to light that little flame that is inside you, remember that the least you do is part of your skills, even walking with style can be considered a great talent, because you do it in a special way, unique and it would become part of your essence and that is what defines you.
