We're off to the local nature centre. Tilgate Park is home to the Tilgate Nature Centre. It was a damp day but the rain was light and intermittent so we were not too uncomfortable.
The nature centre is not a large business but has some cute creatures like these meerkats.
There are some surprises as well like the Emu.
The grandchildren always enjoy a trip here, including the shop and café which is very popular. We were first in the queue when the centre opened this morning at 10 o'clock.
I was very surprised to see a pair of condors. Such a shame to see large birds like these caged up.
A very pleasant walk around the animal enclosures with our grandchildren. A lovely place to go in summer conditions when the park is in full bloom.
