My Actifit Report Card: September 3 2021


It has been a very pleasant early autumn day. After a cool start early this morning at work, the sun came out and it was rather lovely.
Just right for a short walk around Worth Park.

There is a plaque on the wall dedicated to James Pulham who designed the gardens in the 1880's. He used artificial rocks in his rockery, shown here:

The artificial rocks are made of pulhamite - something he fashioned himself with cement and rock rubble.

The building is now owned and used by the local council who maintain the grounds which are quite extensive.
