Sombre Day for Seven Mile Beach Ride - RIP - Drew : April 16 2024

Hard to get on top of life's goings on. Should be not like this but it is. My kids are fine. I do not have to worry about anything - bills are paid - future is secure. Just feel as if I am on this road alone

The flags at Coastal Palms flew at half mast for two of our residents. One is my friend Drew who lived across the road. A lovely man with a passion for dogs - known for training wolves for the movies. His number plate - ABWOLF. We will miss him and his sidekick RED

Got out on the bike to walk Seven Mile Beach NP to find orchids and to walk the pain away - mushrooms and orchids

It is mushroom time

Coming up for greenhood season - this one is close to open

A few orchid types in photo. The rounder leaf is a helmet orchid. Mushroom too

More mushroom variety

Two budding acianthus orchids

Seven Mile Beach woodland view - grand trees

Cluster of greenhoods

Close to open - hard to know which greenhood this is. It may have already self pollinated - pterostylis of some type

Mushrooms and orchids

A different greenhod - maybe nutans

Two orchids side by side

Budding helmet orchid in the foreground

Always get a native violet in this park

New leaf forming on a greenhood

Lobellia - working out how to get photos on the new phone

Greenhood action not far off from opening

As close to an open acianthus orchid - hard photo work

Twinning mushroom and acianthus orchid budding

Was a mushroom day

Mushrooms and orchids

Ride done

Dinner: BBQ - keep it simple
