Today was my Dad's 80th. We've been planning it for weeks with loads of people coming from all corners of Europe. We had a big barbecue by the side of the river which was lovely as the sunset.
The French takes ages to eat which is quite relaxed and gives a lot of time for talking. Dinner took over 4 hours
We then had some music into the night. Great company, great party.
I slept well afterwards.
