It was very windy yesterday and it's been raining on and off so the Riverside Park was partly flooded but you could still get through. This sort of weather is messing with my head, literally.. Lucky I've got pills to take care of it.
South of Polaris is a duo we know from local events; they played at the Bigg Theatre in Biggleswade in the evening where they are the organisers of regular open mics. Danii and her partner Saul, who is from Spain, perform their own songs, some in Spanish, and have started adding them to their Spotify account. with the next one ready to be released soon. They also do covers making them their own; last night they did a mash up of "Summertme", "Hit the Road Jack" and "House of the Rising Sun" with lines from each appearing all over. That was surprising and simply brilliant!
Danii is playing the violin during their set and brought out a ukulele for the first time too.
