THEY ARE COLD BLOODED ANIMALS🕵️♀️🕵️♂️💥
As I mentioned before, a reptile is cold blooded because it does not have the ability to relax its body temperature by itself! it depends 100% on its environment, the most efficient way to raise its temperature is through the sun! lizards, snakes can take "sun baths" this physiological mechanism helps them to accelerate their metabolism and raise their temperature!💥💥💯
Como lo mencione anteriormente un reptil es de sangre fria debido a que no posee la capacidad de relugar su temperatura corporal por si solo! depende 100% de su entorno, la forma mas eficiente de subir su temperatura es mediante el sol! los lagartos, serpientes pueden tomar "baños de sol" este mecanismo fisiologico les ayuda a acelerar su metabolismo y subir su temperatura!🔥🌞
On a rainy day with low light intensity, reptiles don't die! they just have a low metabolism, and they are basically cold! Many winter species, when the sun and temperatures are extreme like some turtles, their metabolism is almost reduced to 0, they only breathe at a very low rate! this to survive in times where there is not enough sun to perform activities such as hunting!
