The day finally arrived, since the vaccination process against Covid 19 began, I have been supporting my family, my mother, my aunts and my sister, were immunised against the virus, only I was missing, until finally, the text message arrived from the Venezuelan public health system, where I was selected to receive the Chinese vaccine "Verocell Sinopharm".
El mensaje indicaba, que debía estar el Centro Regional de Salud, a las 2:00 pm, por precaución me fui antes de medio día, cual fue mi sorpresa, que podía realizar el proceso a esa hora sin ningún problema.
Al llegar, había una fila de aproximadamente 50 personas, los trabajadores de la salud, pasan te verifican que tengas la convocatoria que realiza el “Sistema Público de Salud”, piden tu Cédula de Identidad, y al cabo de 15 minutos nos hicieron pasar.
The message indicated that I had to be at the Regional Health Centre at 2:00 pm. As a precaution, I went before midday, and to my surprise, I was able to do the process at that time without any problem.
When I arrived, there was a line of approximately 50 people, the health workers came by to verify that you had the "Public Health System" call, they asked for your ID card, and after 15 minutes they let us in.
Al estar dentro del recinto hospitalario, nos expusieron una charla, donde nos indicaron las recomendaciones para vacunarnos:
1-. No haber ingerido alcohol, 72 horas antes de la vacunación.
2-. Luego de vacunados, no ingerir alcohol, ni fumar cigarrillos por 48 horas.
3-. Evitar actividades físicas por 24 horas.
When we were inside the hospital, they gave us a talk, where they told us the recommendations for vaccination:
1-. Not to have drunk alcohol 72 hours before the vaccination.
2-. After vaccination, do not drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes for 48 hours.
3-. Avoid physical activity for 24 hours.
Luego de expuestas las recomendaciones, procedieron a tomar nuestros datos y realizar la tarjeta de vacunación y al terminar este proceso, nos colocamos sin demora la vacuna, vacuna contra el Covid 19.
Aunque mi reacción con la vacuna, ha sido enfermiza, he presentado dolor muscular, fiebre y malestar general, hoy me encuentro satisfecho, el proceso de vacunación fue rápido y de calidad, hoy espero con ansias el próximo 20 de agosto, de los corrientes, para colocarme la segunda dosis y estar inmunizado contra el virus pandémico.
After the recommendations were explained, they proceeded to take our data and to make the vaccination card and when this process was finished, we were vaccinated without delay, vaccinated against Covid 19.
Although my reaction to the vaccine has been unhealthy, I have had muscle pain, fever and general malaise, today I am satisfied, the vaccination process was fast and of high quality, and I am now looking forward to the 20th of August to receive the second dose and to be immunised against the pandemic virus.
