In this video we are going to see how I configured an ESP8266 board to transform it into a Wifi Repeater / Router in order to allow some wifi devices in the garden, far from home routers, to connect to the network.
Thanks to a custom firmware written by martin-ger https://github.com/martin-ger/esp_wifi_repeater the ESP8266 is able to connect two wifi networks, one of which is generated by the ESP8266 itself.
This video does not presume to be a tutorial, but simply a step by step of what has been done to achieve the goal. I hope that it will help someone.

In questo video andiamo a vedere come ho configurato una schedina ESP8266 per trasformarla in un Wifi Repeater / Router in modo da permettere ad alcuni dispositivi wifi in giardino, distanti dai router di casa, di connettersi in rete.
Grazie ad un firmware custom scritto da martin-ger https://github.com/martin-ger/esp_wifi_repeater l'ESP8266 è in grado di mettere in comunicazione due reti wifi, una delle quali generata dallo stesso ESP8266.
Questo video non ha la presunzione di essere un tutorial, ma semplicemente uno step by step di quanto fatto per raggiungere l'obiettivo. La speranza è che possa essere d'aiuto a qualcuno.
