Winter in the Netherlands! Hiking on the Veluwe!

by @haastrecht

In this post haastrecht amazes us with some beautiful photos inspired by the beauty of nature. In particular, in Netherlands there were 2 weeks of snow and ice. “The first morning i took a hiking route trough national Park Planken Wambuis, that's part of the bigger nature reserve called The "Hoge Veluwe"! I have never been here before so i went on a early hike. […] About 30 minutes in to the hike i saw something move in the forest, try focusing my camera on it but the bush was to dense to see clearly…” the author told us. In this post oscurity brings us to discover an invasive species, the P. Cucullatus bird. An invasive bird is one that is introduced intentionally, most of the time by anthropic origin. When the species reaches the ecosystem that is not of its origin, it has the ability to adapt and even displace other species. Read the post to find out more about this interesting topic!

📷 The Land of High Mountains: Pakistan. Day 12. Trekking to Nowhere

by @sharker

Today sharker shares with us some great photos from his trip to Pakistan, the land of high mountains. “Yesterday I photographed the stars right after dinner, then got up at 0:30 and waited for the moon to leave. And in the morning at 4:45 I was shooting the sunrise. In general, I did not get enough sleep, I was moving like a zombie in the morning, I did not even put a first-aid kit and a flashlight in my backpack” the author said. Don’t miss this beautiful selection!
