Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?

Zombie inspiration halloween time seasson 3 | taking self-portraits [ENG] [ES]

by @jlphotographyart

Today jlphotographyart shares with us the third work or proposal for Halloween. “I end up loving it very much but to be honest the one that has cost me the most to realize, it was quite difficult to have to do everything alone and find a way to project this idea as I had imagined it and it was in my head, but all the time I spent thinking and looking for things to do it was worth it because I loved this result” the author said. In the post you can see some amazing photos of the creation and also some explanations about the concept. The result is just stunning!

RAGE DRAWING PROCESS

by @dame.art

The latest work by dame.art has as subject rage, a feeling or expression of violent uncontrollable anger. The drawing was made with charcoal pencil and graphite on paper. In the post you can also see some steps of the process.

Oil painting

by @khodadadpoor.art

This painting by khodadadpoor.art is a combination of a bride and groom and sound waves. “At the request of this young couple, I combined the sound of their first conversation, which introduced them to each other and they got married, with this picture” the artist said. The artwork was made with the oil painting technique on cardboard. It’s such a romantic idea!

Eugène Gigout, Toccata, b minor | Secrets of Organ playing Contest, Week 93

by @partitura

Today’s composition by partitura is Gigout’s Toccata in b minor. “This composition is one of the first French Toccata's I've ever heard. And especially the beginning of this Toccata made a deep impression. The hands play on the Récit with the swell closed, so the sound is soft and sounds as if coming from far away. And then suddenly these deep soft notes from the pedals in an off beat rythm. The effect is staggering. Well, at least to my ears” the author said. Don’t miss this amazing execution!
