Window on the landscape - trompe l'oeil

Hi all guys and welcome back to my blog. Two months ago I had a client to create a trompe l'oeil on a wooden panel to be placed inside the opening of an unused fireplace.

As you can see I tried to make a classic but very bright subject because its location is dark.

This short timelapse that I share is the first part of the trompe l'oeil to be placed, a very long work that I hope to complete by the month of February.

Later I will paint some very realistic details, a flower on the windowsill and a butterfly, to give even more the illusion of the depth of the scene.

I also share the various steps of the realization performed with oil colors, I hope you like it, a hug.

Finestra sul paesaggio - trompe l'oeil

Ciao a tutti ragazzi e ben tornati sul mio blog. Due mesi fa ho avuto una committenza per realizzare un trompe l'oeil su un pannello in legno da collocare dentro l'apertura di un camino inutilizzato. Questo breve timelapse che condivido è la prima parte del trompe l'oeil da collocare, un lavoro molto lungo che spero di portare a termine entro il mese di febbraio.

Come potete vedere ho cercato di realizzare un soggetto classico ma molto luminoso perchè la sua collocazione è buia.

In seguito dipingerò alcuni particolari molto realistici, un fiore sul davanzale ed una farfalla, per dare ancora di più l'illusione della profondità della scena.
