Love in the time of the gods.
Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. From the raising of the cross to love the step is short.
Why?
Because men are animated by such an energy that to follow a love they are also willing to make extreme sacrifice. Love is the engine that feeds itself, with the energy that mysteriously moves the action of the human being. An energy that unites us to the gods, who felt the same impulses and passions that we continue to feel ourselves for millennia.

Passion, pleasure, suffering, death, there are many cases in which human beings sacrifice themselves for love: the country, religion, a loved one, an animal, the Arts and more.

Therefore, driven by these considerations, I decided to create a painting that depicted the concept of love. It is a preparatory sketch of the next large oil painting, in color that I intend to create.

In the composition there are two figures in an embrace, human faces, mythological animals and ancestral rocks. If you observe carefully the shapes come out, I also leave you some steps of the realization.

L'amore al tempo degli dei.
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Dall'innalzamento alla croce che ho postato ieri all'amore, il passo è breve.
Perchè?
Perchè gli uomini sono animati da una energia tale che per seguire un amore sono disposti anche all'estremo sacrificio.
L'amore è il motore che si alimenta da solo, con l'energia che misteriosamente muove l'agire dell'essere umano. Un'energia che ci accomuna agli dei, i quali provavano le stesse pulsioni e passioni che per millenni continuiamo a provare noi stessi.
Passione, piacere, sofferenza, morte, sono moltissimi i casi in cui gli esseri umani si sacrificano per amore: la patria, la religione, una persona amata, un animale, le Arti e altro ancora. Quindi, spinto da queste considerazioni ho deciso di realizzare un quadro che raffigurasse il concetto dell'amore.
E' un bozzetto preparatorio del prossimo grande quadro ad olio, a colori che intendo realizzare. Nella composizione sono presenti due figure in un abbraccio, dei volti umani, animali mitologici e rocce ancestrali. Se osservate con attenzione escono fuori le forme, vi lascio anche alcuni steps della realizzazione.
