Hello friends, I needed a little organization when doing my crafts and so I had the need to develop an organizer or pencil holder to have some materials organized. I don't have much space, I only have a table on which I place what I need when I'm doing something and you can imagine the mess. Everything else I have stored in boxes that luckily are organized. To improve in terms of organization, I decided to create a pencil holder, which today I will show you how to do it, and that they create, in the shape of a house, those who know me know that I love to make them. To start, cut two equal rectangular pieces of 21x14 cm to make the base. To this container, mark 4 squares of the same size to be the window, I had to use a soldering iron to open the holes because it was very difficult with the scissors. I used some cardboard boxes to give the structure of the house, one I cut to make it lower and the other I made a diagonal cut. I took a thick cardboard and removed the first layer of it to use it as a roof, with this texture it looks like the roof is made of tiles. >Tomé un cartón grueso y eliminé la primera capa de este para utilizarlo como techo, con esta textura parece que el techo es de tejas.

To decorate the walls I used egg carton, I cut it with my hands so that it was not a straight cut but irregular. Then I glued them with silicone leaving spaces to make it look like a slab wall. >Para decorar las paredes utilicé cartón de huevo, lo piqué con las manos para que no quede un corte recto sino irregular. Luego los fui pegando con silicona dejando espacios para que parezca una pared de lajas.

To give it color I used gray and light blue for the walls, to the egg carton pieces I gave a white color with the brush almost dry to highlight its texture. >Para darle color utilicé gris y azul claro para las paredes, a los trozos de cartón de huevo le di un color blanco con el pincel casi seco para que resalte su textura.

For the doors and windows I used ocher colored moldable foami to make it look like wood, for this I made several cuts to divide the boards and more delicate cuts as if they were the cracks that are made to the wood.
