The Rumors & Speculation about $XMR (Monero)

To start this off, I'd like to make this clear that these are rumors I have heard without completely verifying 100%.

Having said that, ideas like these have been circulating for a long time and I think they disappear from the awareness of most crypto users only to re-appear individually later.

I would like to organize all of the semi-credible rumors in one place, and that is what this post is about.

  1. Satoshi Nakamoto when translated to English can mean "Central Intelligence" you can Google the translation.

  2. Play the word "Bitcoin" in Japanese and it will sound like Betocoin on Google.. almost like Betacoin (press play).

  3. Bitcoin was pitched as a proof of concept, NOT the real deal.. and that may be why Satoshi abandoned it.

  4. If the Founder of #BTC is still around (Satoshi Nakamoto) he's estimated to be worth about 1,100,000 $BTC, or the equivalent of $66 Billion USD at today's price. People suspect that he's dead, that he lost his keys.. or the people behind Bitcoin.. are gone, who knows.

  5. Like Bitcoin, XMR was founded by an anonymous person too, and some of the early language/writing/words traits of Satoshi are present in the first document that led to Monero, published by what is likely a pseudo-name: Nicolas van Saberhagen.

  6. The issue with privacy coins like XMR is that exchanges often require KYC or delist privacy coins like Monero.. but the XMR protocol will soon release an Atomic Swap feature, which will allow XMR owners to swap their XMR for BTC, and all without going through a 3rd party, or centralized/decentralized exchange.

Well . . that leaves me wondering, what if Satoshi is alive and well, and what if he Atomic Swaps his 1,100,000 $BTC for Monero? f

  • He'd jump from a crypto currency with public transactions to an untraceable form of digital cash! 🤣
