¡Feliz miércoles! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y estén teniendo una maravillosa semana. Como ya saben este lunes 22 de Mayo se celebró el Bitcoin Pizza Day y acá en Monagas no nos quedamos atrás y también nos reunimos para festejar este día, fue un evento que se llevó a cabo gracias a la organización de @hivemonagas donde estuvimos presentes algunos Hivers del estado compartiendo y disfrutando en un buen ambiente con buena música y ¡mucha pizza! aquí les cuento mi experiencia.
¡Happy Wednesday! I hope you are doing well and having a wonderful week. As you already know, this Monday, May 22, Bitcoin Pizza Day was celebrated and here in Monagas we did not stay behind and we also gathered to celebrate this day, it was an event that took place thanks to the organization of @hivemonagas where some Hivers from the state were present sharing and enjoying a good atmosphere with good music and ¡lots of pizza! Here I tell you my experience.
Debo decir que en un principio no tenía conocimiento de esta fecha pero al ver la convocatoria del evento en la comunidad @hivemonagas me uní sin pensarlo dos veces porque hace mucho que tenía ganas de asistir a un encuentro de estos y fue aquí cuando vi mi oportunidad. La actividad se pautó para el día lunes 22 de Mayo a las 12 del mediodía en el restaurante Next, uno muy conocido en la ciudad pero que yo nunca había visitado hasta ahora, ese día mi pareja y yo salimos temprano de casa con la intención de surtir gasolina antes de llegar al evento pero justo ese día la estación estaba cerrada y para no devolvernos seguimos hasta el restaurante siendo los primero en llegar, aproximadamente a las 11:35 am ya estábamos allí, todo estaba solo y el local no había abierto sus puestas aun, por lo que debimos quedarnos en el carro esperando a que llegara alguien mas pero pasó un rato para eso, hasta que por fin llegó mi amiga @corimarstorys y fue cuando pudimos entrar al local para anunciarnos.
I must say that at first I was not aware of this date but when I saw the call for the event in the @hivemonagas community I joined without thinking twice because I had wanted to attend one of these meetings for a long time and it was here when I saw my opportunity . The activity was scheduled for Monday, May 22 at 12 noon in the Next restaurant, a well-known one in the city but that I had never visited until now, that day my partner and I left home early with the intention of refueling before arriving at the event but just that day the station was closed and in order not to return we continued to the restaurant, being the first to arrive, at approximately 11:35 am we were already there, everything was alone and the venue They hadn't opened their stalls yet, so we had to stay in the car waiting for someone else to arrive but it took a while for that, until my friend @corimarstorys finally arrived and that's when we were able to enter the premises to announce ourselves.
Al entrar ya los encargados tenían nuestra mesa preparada y mientras llegaban los demás comenzamos a preparar los brazaletes con el nombre del evento y a colocarlos a quienes ya estábamos.
Upon entering, the managers already had our table ready and while the others arrived we began to prepare the bracelets with the name of the event and place them on those of us who were already there.
Aproveché de tomar algunas fotos de todo el lugar y sus espacios, me gustó mucho lo amplio que era así como la decoración, la iluminación y el ambiente, realmente me gustó el estilo del lugar y también que tenía aire acondicionado, por lo que estuvimos más que cómodos y frescos allí, incluso hasta de frio sufrimos algunos.
I took advantage of taking some photos of the whole place and its spaces, I really liked how spacious it was as well as the decoration, the lighting and the atmosphere, I really liked the style of the place and also that it had air conditioning, so we stayed longer how comfortable and cool there, even some of us suffer from the cold.
Mientras aun había tiempo libre porque todavía no llegaba nadie más mi amiga y yo aprovechamos de tomarnos algunas fotos en algunos espacios del restaurante y a la vez conversábamos porque este no solo era un encuentro de Hive para nosotras sino también un reencuentro nuestro después de varios meses sin vernos y aprovechamos el momento para ponernos al día y hablar mucho.
While there was still free time because no one else had yet arrived, my friend and I took advantage of taking some photos in some spaces of the restaurant and at the same time we talked because this was not only a Hive meeting for us but also our reunion after several months without see each other and we take advantage of the moment to catch up and talk a lot.
Siento que nos faltaron muchas más fotos pero es que de ser por mí no la habría dejado hacer nada con tantas fotos y ella debía ocuparse de que todo saliera bien porque es parte del equipo organizador, así que aprovechamos el tiempo como se pudo. Ya poco a poco comenzaron a llegar más Hivers y a medida que lo hacían les íbamos colocando sus brazaletes como parte del evento y hasta nos sacamos una foto usándolos.
I feel that we lacked many more photos, but if it had been up to me, I would not have let her do anything with so many photos and she had to make sure that everything went well because she is part of the organizing team, so we took advantage of the time as best we could. Little by little, more Hivers began to arrive and as they did, we were putting their bracelets on them as part of the event and we even took a picture of ourselves wearing them.
A medida que iban llegando más Hivers se iba llenando nuestra mesa y nos íbamos conociendo entre todos, compartiendo, hablando y tomándonos fotos para el recuerdo, el ambiente era realmente agradable.
As more Hivers arrived, our table filled up and we all got to know each other, sharing, talking and taking photos to remember, the atmosphere was really nice.
Poco después de la una de la tarde cuando ya casi estábamos todos comenzaron a preparar nuestra mesa para traer las pizzas, se nos informó que debido a la cantidad de personas no podían sacar todas las pizzas a la vez, por lo que no podíamos empezar a comer todos al mismo tiempo a menos que esperáramos a que todos tuvieran sus pizzas pero la espera no fue muy larga y las primeras pizzas en salir eran la mía y la de @derppunk, era una pizza grande para cada uno y éramos aproximadamente 25 personas, así que la mesa estaba repleta de comida y pizza no nos faltó, por mi parte puedo decir que comí mucha pizza ese día.
Shortly after one in the afternoon, when we were almost all ready, they began to prepare our table to bring the pizzas, we were informed that due to the number of people they could not take out all the pizzas at once, so we could not start eat all at the same time unless we waited for everyone to have their pizzas but the wait was not very long and the first pizzas to come out were mine and @derppunk's, it was a large pizza each and we were about 25 people, so the table was full of food and we did not lack pizza, for my part I can say that I ate a lot of pizza that day.
Ya luego de comer hubo un poco de entretenimiento a cargo de varios Hivers que cantaron y tocaron guitarra para amenizar la reunión y eso que todos cantaran y hasta bailaran.
After eating there was some entertainment by several Hivers who sang and played the guitar to liven up the meeting and that everyone sang and even danced.
Luego se puso aún mejor porque los organizadores del evento rifaron un tobo de cervezas y para ganarlas tuvimos que participar en una dinámica que me pareció muy divertida donde todos nos formamos para tomar nuestro turno y lanzar una botella con agua en la mesa y quien lograra dejarla parada se ganaba una, me gustó mucho el juego pero no gané, creo que es la única forma de que yo no gane algo en esta vida.
Then it got even better because the organizers of the event raffled off a tobo of beers and to win them we had to participate in a dynamic that I thought was very fun where we all lined up to take our turns and throw a bottle of water on the table and whoever managed to leave it a stop was earned, I really liked the game but I didn't win, I think it's the only way I don't win something in this life.
Otra de las dinámicas que hicieron fue sortear una pizza al usuario más activo en twitter compartiendo sobre el evento y ese fue @artsyjose, otra cosa que no me gané jajajaja.
Another of the dynamics they did was raffle a pizza to the most active user on twitter sharing about the event and that was @artsyjose, another thing I didn't win hahahaha.
A partir de allí fue pura música y compartir, otra chica más cantó y puso a todos a bailar menos a mí porque yo no bailo, cuando se hacían casi las 6 de la tarde mi pareja y yo decidimos irnos porque ya estábamos cansados y tengo entendido que poco después de eso finalizó oficialmente el evento y todos los demás se fueron. En lo personal la pasé muy bien y disfruté mucho, comí mucha pizza y compartí con algunos Hivers, fue un gran evento y una gran experiencia que espero repetir pronto.
From there it was pure music and sharing, another girl sang and made everyone dance except me because I don't dance, when it was almost 6 in the evening my partner and I decided to leave because we were already tired and I understand that shortly after that the event officially ended and everyone else left. Personally, I had a great time and enjoyed a lot, I ate a lot of pizza and shared with some Hivers, it was a great event and a great experience that I hope to repeat soon.
