To put a satellite in orbit it is necessary to make use of spacecraft that take off from a special place for this purpose, the most common places are: French Guiana and Florida if we are talking about America.
Once launched on the earth's atmosphere at a certain distance from the earth, it begins its work for which it has been designated, for example: for telephony, satellite television, GPS positioning services, photography, mapping, meteorological services, etc.
In some cases, some companies or governments begin to use satellite internet and transmit through the "KA Band" located about 35 thousand kilometers from the earth, without ruling out that there are other devices placed only 240 km from the earth.
There are different classifications of satellites especially by their occupation or their coverage area, there are "nano-satellites" that are from 1 to 10 kg, and "femto-satellites" less than one kg that are used to take pictures of some regions.

Para poner un satélite en órbita es necesario hacer uso de naves espaciales que despegan de un lugar especial para tal fin, los lugares mas comunes son: La Guayana Francesa y La florida si hablamos de América.
Una vez lanzados sobre la atmósfera terrestre a una distancia determinada de la tierra comienza su trabajo para el cual ha sido designado, por ejemplo: para telefonía, televisión satelital, servicios de posicionamiento GPS, fotografía, elaboración de mapas, servicio meteorológicos, etc.
En algunos casos algunas empresas o gobiernos comienzan a utilizar internet satelital y transmiten mediante "Banda KA" situada a unos 35 mil kilómetros de la tierra, sin descartar que hay otros artefactos colocados a solo 240 Km de la tierra.
Existen distintas clasificaciones de satélites sobretodo por su ocupación o su área de cobertura, existen los "nano-satélites" que son de 1 a 10 Kg, y los "femto-satélites" menores a un Kg. que se utilizan para realizar fotografias de algunas regiones.
