In this video I share the story of my African American forefathers through American history -- it begins in tragedy, and ends in a continuing triumph -- tell stories about my father and grandfathers and some other great fathers I know, and then feature songs my forefathers sang and many Black elders are still singing to encourage themselves: the Negro Spirituals "Walk With Me" and "Climbin' a High Mountain"!
