Sun Thursday #32 - Byron Bay Sunsets.

Along the Byron Bay coastline we have seven beaches which are Belongil Beach, TallowBeach, The Pass, Wategos Beach, Clarkes Beach, Little Wategos Beach and Main Beach Byron Bay which is the one, I live near, to see all these beaches from the higher viewing point looking down at them is to start your walk from the Main Beach Byron Bay walking along the Byron Bay lighthouse walking track by walking along this track which is about a 4 km walk, it will take you through some amazing rainforest then it, comes out to the mainland clifftops were you can observe some of the most stunning views as your walking along.

I myself have walked and jogged along the Byron Bay lighthouse walking track several times in fact, I jog along this track five days a week and the sceneries just keep getting more beautiful by the day. There are other connecting tracks from the Byron Bay lighthouse walking track, which will take you further down the coastline as far as Lennox Head Beach or in the other direction as far as Ballina Beach, it's a good full day's hiking if you wanted to do that.

This 4 km scenic track, is a icon of Byron Bay not only taking you along the stunning headland clifftops, getting great views of the Australia mainland, it also takes you up to the Cape Byron Lighthouse and from that height you are able to see the whole beautiful nature of Byron Bay and the most spectacular sunsets can be seen from this point of Byron Bay also the perfect location to be doing dolphin and whale watching when the season comes for them to be passing through.
