Este sofá me trae varios recuerdos. Uno de ellos es que mi cuñada, esposa de unos de mis hermanos mayores, tenía unos muebles semejantes, cuando solía visitarlos me gustaba sentarme en el sofá. En realidad era muy cómodo, al igual que los cojines, pero al cabo de unos días fui nuevamente a visitarlos, para mi sorpresa los muebles tenían un aviso que decia: "No sentarse". Quedé enmudecida, me pareció un cartel de mal gusto.
Pero ahora reflexiono, para que tengo unos muebles tan cómodos y no puedo usarlos?? O que gano con guardar las cosas para después? Si bien es cierto que se debe cuidar las cosas, por otro lado es bueno disfrutar lo que tenemos mientras podamos, al final de tus días, cuando mueras no te llevarás nada material. Que irónico, la historia de los muebles fue muy triste, pues ellos vivían en una zona de alto riesgo, por la crecida del lago de Valencia en la ciudad de Maracay. Y tuvieron que desalojar su casa, vivieron por un tiempo en un refugio, y que de esos muebles tan cómodos? Nunca pregunté.
Lo cierto es que en el lugar donde viven ahora, mucho más pequeño ya no había espacio para ellos.
En conclusión, mientras podamos disfrutemos de las cosas que tenemos bien sea materiales o inmateriales, tus familiares, hijos, padres, conyugue, una buena amistad, una casa, un vehiculo, la comida y la vida que nos tocó, siendo agradecidos, "No le pongas un cartel, de prohibido"; pues todo es pasajero y cuando nos vayamos de este plano terrenal que podamos decir: "disfruté mientras tuve vida"

This sofa brings back several memories for me. One of them is that my sister-in-law, wife of one of my older brothers, had similar furniture, when I used to visit them I liked to sit on the couch. It was actually very comfortable, as were the cushions, but after a few days I went to visit them again, to my surprise the furniture had a notice that said: "Do not sit". I was speechless, it seemed to me a sign in bad taste.
But now I reflect, why do I have such comfortable furniture and I can't use it? Or what do I gain by saving things for later? While it is true that things should be taken care of, on the other hand it is good to enjoy what we have while we can, at the end of your days, when you die you will not take anything material with you. How ironic, the story of the furniture was very sad, because they lived in a high risk area, due to the flooding of Lake Valencia in the city of Maracay. And they had to vacate their house, they lived for a while in a shelter, and what about that comfortable furniture? I never asked.
The truth is that in the place where they live now, much smaller, there was no more room for them?
In conclusion, while we can enjoy the things we have, whether material or immaterial, your relatives, children, parents, spouse, a good friendship, a house, a vehicle, food and the life we have, being grateful, "Do not put a sign, forbidden", because everything is temporary and when we leave this earthly plane we can say: "I enjoyed while I had life".
