Qué harás con tus maletas?

Las maletas para mi representan viajes, sueños, mudanzas, personas que ya no están.
Recuerdo que mi papá tenía una maleta vieja de esas que ya no salen de puro cuero, con dos visagras. Era intocable, guardaba papeles muy importantes, cuando enfermó, mi madre hizo una limpieza profunda y le botó su maleta, donde empacaba tantas cosas que para él eran importantes, me llené de mucha impotencia y nostalgia, pero ya no había vuelta atrás, le dije: Papá, te compraré una maleta nueva, pero no dió tiempo, se fue de este plano terrenal al espiritual y sin maletas.

Mi papá, no vivió lo que pasa en Venezuela, cuando muchos amigos y familiares cercanos han emprendido un viaje y nunca vuelven, por miedo, o por otras causas.
Hace unos días, mientras íba en el transporte público, alguna vecina me comentó: llegué hace una semana de algún país, he gastado todo! Me devuelvo sin maletas, es decir; con ellas vacías porque acá hay mucha necesidad, me quiero ir!
Le contesté: Que pena que se va con las maletas vacías, pero el alma llena de ver a sus seres queridos! la mujer asintió con la cabeza y me dijo: Si, aunque todo me abruma, quedé sin dinero y las maletas vacías, pero lleno el corazón de los abrazos y gestos de amor.
Por otro lado, hay algunos que guardan maletas esperando poder visitar a sus seres queridos, esperanzados que algún día los verán, viajarán hacia el país donde se encuentran y nunca más volverán a separarse.
Pero hay otro viaje, que cuando lo emprendamos no hay vuelta atrás. El viaje a la eternidad, allí no necesitamos maletas, solo nos llevamos lo que vivimos en la tierra, entonces porque guardar las maletas y no emprender un viaje? Así que si tienes tú maleta, empaca tu equipaje y viaja, conoce, disfruta, siempre recordando que todos haremos un viaje a la eternidad sin retorno!

What will you do with your bags?
Suitcases for me represent travels, dreams, moving, people who are gone.
My dad, did not live what happens in Venezuela, when many close friends and relatives have undertaken a trip and never come back, for fear, or other causes.
