Alexa, Enciende la Televisión

Esta fotografía me traslada a mi infancia, en casa teníamos una tele muy parecida, un poco más grande, un botón de encendido rectangular y dos grandes y circulares, uno para cambiar el canal que dicho sea de paso se veían a veces dos y otras veces tres, el otro no tengo ni la más remota idea para que servía. Y ¿Cómo era el de volumen? Para ser sincera no recuerdo jejeje.
Nuestra tele se conectada a una antena que estaba en casa de mi primo Alejandro, a unos metros de mi casa, ya que allí por la altura había mejor señal.
Recuerdo muy bien el cable de la antena, estaba recubierto de un plástico marrón tan deteriorado que al estrujarlo se desintegraba y me gustaba esa sensación entre mis dedos.
En casa no veíamos mucha televisión, debíamos pedir permiso a mi papá o a mi mamá para encenderla, ellos nos supervisaban los programas y el tiempo.
Mis días favoritos para ver televisión eran los sábados en las mañanas, temprano pasaban dibujos animados y yo tenía permiso de ver unas 2 horas aproximadamente.
De eso hacen unos 20, 25 años aproximadamente, aunque me parece tan cercano es toda una vida.
Los avances tecnológicos nos causan risa al recordar tan obsoletos equipos, siempre hay alguien que recuerde anécdotas no solo de los televisores, sino de los primeros teléfonos, los equipos de sonidos y otros electrodomésticos que las nuevas generaciones no están ni medianamente interesados en conocer jejeje.
No me imagino a los adolescentes de ahora esperando una semana para ver un nuevo episodio de alguna serie de televisión abierta y rogar a Dios para que no llueva ese día porque se puede caer la señal o tener que mover la antena porque no se ve o escucha y ni pensar en levantarse del sillón para cambiar el canal, dar o quitar el volúmen, no no no! si ahora tenemos a nuestra asistente Alexa y si no sabemos dónde dejamos el control, también la tenemos en el teléfono jejejeje.
La tecnología avanza a pasos agigantados y nosotros vamos cambiando nuestro modo de vida, aprovechando sus beneficios y también cayendo en el remolino de ventajas y desventajas.
En casa nos tomamos con seriedad este tema y al igual que mis padres también restringimos el uso y el tiempo que dedica nuestra hija Amanda a la televisión, afortunadamente Diego no le presta atención a los dibujos animados y prefiere poner de cabeza su espacio de juegos jejejeje.
Me gusta la televisión, las películas, series, dibujos animados, programas de contenidos, noticias, documentales, todo lo que puede ser aprovechado para lo positivo pero más me gusta el entrenamiento que me brinda una charla con la familia, un paseo y todo lo que implica mirar las caritas expectantes de mis niños bonitos.

This picture takes me back to my childhood, at home we had a very similar TV, a bit bigger, a rectangular power button and two big circular ones, one to change the channel, which by the way was sometimes two and sometimes three, and the other one I have no idea what it was for. And what was the volume control like? To be honest I don't remember hehehe.
Our TV was connected to an antenna that was in my cousin Alejandro's house, a few metres away from my house, because there was a better signal due to the height.
I remember very well the antenna cable, it was covered with a brown plastic so deteriorated that when I squeezed it it disintegrated and I liked that feeling between my fingers.
At home we didn't watch much television, we had to ask my dad or my mum for permission to turn it on, they supervised the programmes and the time.
My favourite days to watch TV were Saturday mornings, early in the morning they would show cartoons and I was allowed to watch about 2 hours.
That's about 20, 25 years ago, although it seems so close to me it's a lifetime ago.
Technological advances make us laugh when we remember such obsolete equipment, there is always someone who remembers anecdotes not only about televisions, but also about the first telephones, stereos and other household appliances that the new generations are not even mildly interested in knowing hehehehe.
I can't imagine today's teenagers waiting a week to watch a new episode of a TV series and praying to God that it doesn't rain that day because the signal might drop or they might have to move the antenna because they can't see or hear it and not even think about getting up from the armchair to change the channel, turn the volume up or down, no no no! now we have our Alexa assistant and if we don't know where we left the control, we also have her on the phone hehehehehehe.
Technology is advancing by leaps and bounds and we are changing our way of life, taking advantage of its benefits and also falling into the whirlpool of advantages and disadvantages.
At home we take this issue seriously and like my parents we also restrict the use and time our daughter Amanda spends on television, fortunately Diego doesn't pay attention to cartoons and prefers to turn his play space upside down hehehehehe.
I like TV, movies, series, cartoons, content programmes, news, documentaries, anything that can be used for the positive but more than that I like the workout I get from a chat with the family, a walk and everything that involves looking at the expectant faces of my beautiful children.
