Hola amigos de Top Family, estoy complacida, de tener la oportunidad de compartir con ustedes nuevamente, después de varias semanas de ausencia en el concurso. Esta semana nos presentan una imagen muy curiosa, un viejo tractor rojo.
Lo primero que vino a mi mente al observar esta fotografía es su estado deteriorado, puedo imaginarme, cuanto tiempo ha estado así, sin uso, como un aparato más olvidado. Puedo imaginar a una familia, preocupada, deseando con todo su ser, poder arreglarlo, si es que ya no es demasiado tarde o en el mejor de los casos, adquirir uno nuevo, así la labor del campo, sería más llevadera, pero solo queda abrigar esa esperanza y seguir trabajando, pues los recursos no dan para tanto, sobre todo en una economía tan inaccesible.
Mi padre es agricultor, pero nunca tuvimos la oportunidad de adquirir grandes maquinarias, él trabaja solo con herramientas menores, ni siquiera piensa en usar animales, como esos bueyes que usan para arar la tierra. He visto, las mano de mi padre, sangrar, lastimadas por espinas y por las áridas tierras en verano. A veces, me imagino, llegando a casa, con herramientas especializadas que alivien un poco su trabajo en el campo, un poco de ayuda no estaría mal para ese cuerpo agotado.
Cada día admiro más al agricultor, al campesino, que labra día a día la tierra, para cosechar esos alimentos, que de no ser por ellos no llegaría a nuestra mesa. Trabajar en el campo, no es fácil, detrás de cada fruta, de cada vegetal, hay jornadas interminables de trabajo, en el campo, no hay días libres, aunque mi padre trata de descansar los domingos, alguna actividad termina realizando. Como sacar los granos de café al patio de secado.
Por esto, al ver esta máquina, deteriorada, paralizada, he sentido empatía por sus dueños, tal vez, la estén necesitando más que nunca.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this photograph is its deteriorated state, I can imagine how long it has been like this, without use, like another forgotten device. I can imagine a family, worried, wishing with all their being, to be able to fix it, if it is not too late or in the best of cases, to acquire a new one, so the work in the field, would be more bearable, but it only remains to cherish that hope and continue working, because the resources do not give for so much, especially in an economy so inaccessible.
My father is a farmer, but we never had the opportunity to acquire big machinery, he works only with minor tools, he doesn't even think of using animals, like those oxen they use to plow the land. I have seen, my father's hands, bleeding, hurt by thorns and by the arid lands in summer. Sometimes, I imagine, coming home, with specialized tools to ease a little his work in the fields, a little help would not be bad for that exhausted body.
Every day I admire more and more the farmer, the peasant, who tills the land day after day, to harvest those foods, that if it were not for them would not reach our table. Working in the field is not easy, behind every fruit, every vegetable, there are endless days of work, in the field, there are no days off, although my father tries to rest on Sundays, some activity ends up doing. Like taking the coffee beans to the drying yard.
For this reason, when I saw this machine, deteriorated, paralyzed, I felt empathy for its owners, perhaps, they are needing it more than ever.
