Era un día normal, hace algunos meses yo y mi esposa habíamos con mucho sacrificio conseguido comprar una casa de tipo clase media en un buen sector de la ciudad, era nuestro orgullo, habíamos ahorrado tanto para obtenerla, que teníamos una gran felicidad, la primera vez que nos dieron las llaves y el título de propiedad, aunque claro era una buena casa tenía sus detalles, pero ya teníamos lo primordial que andábamos buscando.

It was a normal day, some months ago me and my wife had managed to buy a middle class house in a good sector of the city, it was our pride, we had saved so much to get it, we had a great happiness, the first time they gave us the keys and the title deed, although it was a good house it had its details, but we already had the main thing we were looking for.
La principal razón por mudarnos a nuestra propia casa era formar una familia, era algo que siempre habíamos hablado y ya había llegado el momento, yo trabajaba en una empresa embotelladora y mi esposa era cajera en un banco, no nos iba tan mal, así que decidimos que ya era hora de formar nuestra familia.
Como ya les había comentado, aunque la casa estaba en buen estado, tenía sus detalles, nosotros dormíamos en el cuarto más grande de la casa y que estaba en mejor estado, así que nos enfocamos en hacer una remodelación en uno de los cuartos contiguos que le seguía en tamaño, en su mayor parte lo que necesitaba era una capa de pintura.
Así que fui comprando los materiales que necesitaba poco a poco, primero fue la pintura, luego la lija, brochas, pasta para sellar, pego, una vez que tuve todo eso, espere unas semanas porque pronto iba a caer feriado, un día viernes, un día de fiesta nacional, así que iba a tener un fin de semana largo, 3 días para realizar y terminar todo trabajo.
The main reason for moving to our own house was to form a family, it was something we had always talked about and the time had come, I worked in a bottling company and my wife was a bank teller, we were not doing so bad, so we decided it was time to form our family.
As I had already mentioned, although the house was in good condition, it had its details, we slept in the largest room of the house and was in better condition, so we focused on remodeling one of the adjoining rooms that was next in size, mostly what it needed was a coat of paint.
So I was buying the materials I needed little by little, first was the paint, then the sandpaper, brushes, sealing paste, glue, once I had all that, I waited a few weeks because soon was going to fall holiday, a Friday, a national holiday, so I was going to have a long weekend, 3 days to do and finish all work.
Llegado ese día, me coloque una camisa en mi cara, unos lentes y me puse a lijar toda la pared donde había rastros de moho o humedad para quitarla y que la pintura se adhiriera mejor a la misma, luego de toda una tarde pude terminar de hacerlo, así que luego me dispuse a preparar la pintura, luego de un rato empecé a pintar el cuarto, en ese momento mi esposa me manda un mensaje diciéndome, que tal está quedando el cuarto, así que en vez de contestarle con palabras, le envió un selfie mío con toda la indumentaria que tengo en la cabeza y la pared en el fondo para que viera que estaba trabajando, fue una divertida imagen, ella envió unos emojis riéndose y luego yo seguí en lo mío para que en primer día de remodelación ya tenía listo una pared, ya será mañana que siga con lo demás.

Arrived that day, I put a shirt on my face, some glasses and I started to sand the entire wall where there were traces of mold or moisture to remove it and that the paint adhere better to it, after a whole afternoon I could finish it, so then I set out to prepare the paint, after a while I started to paint the room, at that time my wife sends me a message telling me, so instead of answering her with words, I sent her a selfie of me with all the clothes I have on my head and the wall in the background so she could see that I was working, it was a funny image, she sent some emojis laughing and then I continued with my work so that in the first day of remodeling I had a wall ready, it will be tomorrow that I continue with the rest.
