El tiempo pasa muy deprisa, pero nos queda lo aprendido, la experiencia, los recuerdos y como estamos en la era de la tecnología: las fotos y los vídeos.
Esta fotografía es muy especial porque es de la graduación de técnico superior universitario, de mi hija @isauris, por allá por el 2012. En ella estoy rodeada por ella y sus compañeros, esos que fueron más cercanos a ella durante todo ese año.
La verdad es que mientras mis hijos crecían y estudiaban, nunca tuve que preocuparme mucho por su rendimiento académico porque en general eran buenos. En básica siempre tuvieron las mejores calificaciones, pero al pasar a la secundaria empezaron a tener calificaciones regulares, unas excelentes y otras no tanto. Aunque creo que eso dependía de cuáles materias les gustaban más.
Sé que cuando mis hijos entraron a la universidad fue una época dura para ellos, pero a pesar de todas las dificultades que enfrentaron lograron graduarse con muy buenos promedios. Y aunque hoy en día no ejercen la profesión que estudiaron, ninguno de los dos siente que su tiempo en la universidad haya sido tiempo perdido.
Los 4 jóvenes de la foto siguieron luchando por sus sueños y posteriormente lograron alcanzar graduarse de ingenieros. Hoy en día, creo que solo dos de ellos ejerce la carrera, pero eso no les ha impedido a los demás seguir adelante construyendo su futuro.
Estoy muy orgullosa de mis hijos pero también de estos chicos porque sé que para lograr esa meta tuvieron que luchar muy duro. No me corresponde a mi contarles detalles de sus historias de vida, pero les aseguro que son dignos de admirar por haber seguido adelante a pesar de todas las dificultades.

Time passes very quickly, but we are left with what we have learned, the experience, the memories and since we are in the age of technology: photos and videos.
This photograph is very special because it is from the graduation of my daughter @isauris as a university technician, back in 2012. In it I am surrounded by her and her classmates, those who were closest to her throughout that year .
The truth is that while my children were growing up and studying, I never had to worry much about their academic performance because they were generally good. In elementary school they always had the best grades, but when they moved on to secondary school they began to have average grades, some excellent and others not so much. Although I think that depended on which subjects they liked the most.
I know that when my children entered university it was a hard time for them, but despite all the difficulties they faced, they managed to graduate with very good averages. And although today they do not practice the profession they studied, neither of them feels that their time at university has been wasted time.
The 4 young people in the photo continued fighting for their dreams and later managed to graduate as engineers. Today, I think only two of them pursue their careers, but that has not prevented the others from continuing to build their future.
I am very proud of my children but also of these boys because I know that to achieve that goal they had to fight very hard. It is not my place to tell you details of their life stories, but I assure you that they are worthy of admiration for having continued forward despite all the difficulties.
