Hello, Friends!

For this week's challenge I downloaded photographs taken in November 2021 at my favorite and newest park in the area where I live. Veteran's Tribute Park, located in St. Charles County, MO spans an impressive 120-acres. The gorgeous park opened in 2018 and was built on what used to be farmland. One of the unique things about the park is the historic farm silo you see in the photographs.

"The silo on the property, built in 1916, has been preserved and integrated into the design. A boardwalk from the silo spans out into the park, allowing visitors to have a view of the landscape and of the playground."Source

The silo is a touching tribute and unique connection to both the heritage and history of the land. It also serves as a conversation starter between children and parents, teachers and others who visit the playground on which the silo is located.
